У книзі розглядається питання історичних трансформацій світогляду європейської людини від архаїчних часів до епохи Модерну включно. Виявлено світоглядні інваріанти кожної історичної епохи та генетичний зв`язок між ними. На широкому міфологічному та історико-філософському матеріалі автор доводить, що виникли внаслідок незбігу родового ейдетичного буття людини з її особисто-екзестенційним буттям, аксіологеми визначають не лише світоглядні особистості представників різних хронотопів, а й задають вектор розвитку соціальних систем.
